server facilities

All of Prestige's software packages can be run remotely on our top of the line servers. Application hosting simplifies the use of Prestige programs, as all maintainance and updates are done at Prestige's headquarters. Client's systems require less upgrades, and system resources are taxed less as a result.

Our climate-controlled facility is physically secure and free from unacceptable environmental risk. Fire detection and suppression equipment are present. A dedicated back-up power source is available in the event of an electrical outage, and information stored on our production servers is backed up on a nightly basis to both tape and disk with scheduled off-site data storage.

Prestige Technologies, Inc. uses Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Enerpries Edition and Microsoft SQL Server 2000 to provide rich security features that protect our customers' data and network resources. We have enabled authentication features that make it harder to get access to our servers running SQL Server by integrating more closely with Windows. Utilizing authentication, granting, and controlling what a user can do are implemented with granular permissions.
